How it works
Upload your notes
PDF, Word, PowerPoint or photos of your notebook. StudyBuddy reads the material, files it under its subject and finds the topics.
Study with the tutor
Pick a topic and start a session. The tutor searches your documents, explains what you don't understand and asks questions to check you've got it.
Walk into the exam prepared
Add the date and the topics it covers. You and the tutor agree a day-by-day plan, and you can see how you're doing on each topic.

Answers from your notes
The tutor searches your documents before it answers and tells you where the information comes from. Anything from the internet is marked, with its source.
Practice questions
Quizzes inside the session, marked straight away. Every answer updates how well you know that topic.

When a picture explains it better, the tutor draws a diagram or an illustration you can enlarge and download.
Speak and listen
Dictate your questions with the microphone and, if you like, have the answers read aloud.
Exams and study plans
For every exam, a plan with steps and days you decide together with the tutor. If you fall behind, you re-plan it.
Remembers what you studied
Every session ends with a summary: what you learned, what to review and the next step. Next time you pick up from there.
Your data and your safety
StudyBuddy is made for students, many of them minors. This is what we do with what you upload and write.
Your material is yours
We keep your notes only so the tutor can use them with you. We don't use them to train AI models and never show them to other students.
No advertising
We don't sell your data, show ads or use advertising cookies.
You're in control
From Settings you can download all your data in one file and delete your account, with all your material, whenever you want.
AI with clear limits
The tutor uses third-party AI models, which receive your messages and the parts of your notes needed to answer, but not your name or email. Answers can contain mistakes: they are a study aid, not a replacement for your teacher.

If you are under 14, you need consent from a parent or legal guardian to use StudyBuddy.

Who is StudyBuddy for?
Students who want to study from their own notes and get organised for their exams.
What material can I upload?
PDFs, Word and OpenDocument files, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, text files and photos (JPG, PNG or WebP) of your notes or textbook.
Will the tutor do my homework?
That's not the idea. The tutor explains, asks you questions and helps you understand the topic so you can do it yourself. Using it to cheat in an exam is against the terms of service.
Are the answers always right?
Not always. They are generated by artificial intelligence and can contain mistakes. That's why the tutor tells you where the information comes from: check it against your notes and, if in doubt, ask your teacher.
Do I need to install anything?
No. StudyBuddy works in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. You only need to create an account with your email address.
What do you do with my data?
We use it to run the service and keep it secure, never for advertising. You can download it or delete your account from Settings. The details are in the privacy policy.
